Dear
Group Leader,
We look forward to seeing you and the
team the LORD has chosen to bring with you. May this group be
the best mission-minded team ever!
If you would like to bring a group to Colina de Luz, you
must:
• Call Jim Drake 1 (619) 417-5662 to discuss your different
options, possible dates and to go over any questions you may
have.
• Complete a Group Information
Form ASAP.
• Complete a Team
Ministry Application (all remaining forms) and bring them
with you for Colina. You may want to keep copies for your records.
Click on the links to download our new forms. Be sure to print
both documents. The first is the Group Information Form to be
turned in as soon as possible. The Team Ministry Application
includes a Team Application, a copy of our Group Guidelines,
legal forms and other helpful information. We hope it will better
equip your team for the trip!
It will be a great blessing to us here at Colina if all the
forms are filled out completely and the expectations are clearly
understood by all group members, especially teens.
It is my goal this year to better communicate with any teams
GOD chooses to send our way. I will be giving your team members
a tour and orientation upon your arrival, and I’d be happy
to answer any questions they may have.
If there’s anything in the Team Ministry Application that
you do not understand or that may be a hardship on anyone, please
communicate this with me. Our expectations may seem a little
long to some of your group members as you go over them. Our
goal is to make sure they understands the ministry guidelines
we follow here at Colina de Luz. I believe that this new packet
will help accomplish just that.
A verse that I believe The LORD would have us share with all
who care to minister effectively is: 1 Corinthians 14:40, and
it says “Let all things be done decently and in order.”
Also 1 Corinthians 10:31 it says “whatever you do, do all
to the glory of God.” Together we can glorify our LORD
as we seek to reach out to the children and adults of Mexico.
We can have work projects and outreaches ready for you when
your team arrives. Please call me several weeks before your
arrival and let me know exactly what your goals are, and how
we can help you achieve them. We’re excited for the possibility
of teaming up with you. We hope this will be a life changing
experience for all.
