DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM SAN DIEGO, U.S.A.

 1. Before crossing the Border, be sure to buy Mexican Insurance! We recommend Instant Mexican Auto Insurance –223 Via de San Ysidro which is 2 miles North of the Border off the 5 Freeway– 1 (619) 428 3583, After you have your insurance, proceed south on I-5 or I-805 to Tijuana border crossing. Reset your odometer at the border to keep track of your miles.

2. Immediately after crossing the border get in the right lane. Take the next on-ramp, after the Aeropuerto exit, which is for Rosarito/Ensenada. Merge onto the highway and begin to go up a hill. The border fence will be on your right.

3. 4.5 Miles from the border there is a sign for the turn-off to playas / Rosarito / Ensenada, DO NOT TAKE THIS EXIT . Continue going straight following the sign to La Mesa / Tecate / Mexicali.

 4. 10.6 Miles from the border take the turn-off on the right for Rosarito/Ensenada.

5. Stay in the right lane. .7 miles after the turn-off is the La Gloria off-ramp. This off-ramp will curve to the left as it takes you up over the highway and into our community of La Gloria. At the PEMEX gas station on the left and you need to turn left at this street.

6. Go .5 mile to past the diagonal speed bump to the small, rounded building with mosaic stairs. It is a novelty store. Turn right. Go a few blocks to the end of the cement. You will approach a 5-way intersection; take the second street to the left, it is a dirt road. Continue past the yellow buildings on the right and the convent on the left. Follow the road as it bends to the right. Note: If the road is wet, be sure to stay on the cobblestone. You will pass new track homes on both sides of the street, but continue straight to the end and then turn left. You will see a large archway that says Colina de Luz. Welcome to our home. Please park on the gravel near the first white building to the left. This is our office; please make sure we know you’ve arrived. If there are several vehicles with you, you may continue past the first building and park on the other side of the soccer field in front of the brick wall. We hope your visit is a blessed one.

 7. To return, go back the way you came except you will merge to the right after leaving La Gloria and not go over the bridge you came in on. You will need to merge to the right onto the highway before the overpass. Take the first on-ramp immediately after going under the bridge and curve around to the highway that will return you to the border. Be careful of the merging traffic. Follow the signs back toward San Diego.
